Opportunities From: NHSCOT

Our great children's program featuring games, crafts and lots of fun for the wee ones.  Help to set up and keep supplies for the kids, oversee games and generally have a great time!  This is not a babysitting program, parents must stay with their children.

Clan village committee

We have a great competition for fiddlers of all skill levels!  The area needs people to help with greeting and organizing.  Fiddler Chairperson will help you understand the position and you get to hear great music!

Volunteers man our entrances to sell or scan tickets.  With technology it is a very easy task and a great job for people persons!  Greet visitors and scan the pre-purchased tickets or help them purchase tickets.  

No you do not have to dance or know anything about Highland Dance.  Volunteers help to guide the dancers as they line up for the competition, assist with paperwork and organization and generally assist the Chairperson.  

Not sure what you want to do?  We have suggestions!  Kelly and Lois can help you pick a task and find something you like.

Assist visitors by answering questions about the games, schedule, etc. Sell raffle tickets for our fantastic raffle basket.  Not sure you know enough? Our great group of veteran volunteers will be happy to help you learn!

Our members have benefits and and our volunteers make sure that members enjoy those benefits.  Volunteers needed to greet members at the membership tent on the parade ground, and at the Caber Club tent.  Volunteers also gatekeep and collect tickets at the member lunch area in the Quad 8 Building.  Bring your smile and meet some great people!

The piping and drumming competition needs people to assist the judges as competitors arrive and transport paperwork to the Steward's Office.  This is a position outside and you get to hear the competitors compete!  

Sell raffle tickets beside our information booth or walking throughout the event.  Raffle proceeds help support our year-round programming.

Join our dedicated crew in selling the fun and fantastic NHSCOT merchandise.  This is a fast-paced and lively opportunity!

Just a run up the mountain - but not for the volunteers.  Volunteers man strategic points to monitor races and any (hopefully not) problems.  

Like the Whisky and Spirits event - we need people to sell tickets, check tickets and ages for people attending the event.  Here vendors of Scotch Ales compete to win the coveted Best Scotch Ale!

So much to do and many hands make it go much faster.  Help us to distribute items to areas, set up tables and chairs and help with all the nitty gritty prep work for this event!  This a great task and we need help!  Clan MacCrew makes it happen!

Once it is all over, we need help to pack it all up and load the truck.  We are not talking tents, but tables, chairs, coolers, etc. all has to be dealt with!  The more hands the merrier!

Ticket holders can sample a variety of whiskies at each session.  Volunteers are needed to gatekeep and be sure only ticket holders go in and no one under the age of 21.  You may sell tickets as well as scan per-purchased tickets.

Whisky Ambassador Simon Brooking returns to share his vast knowledge of Whisky!  Volunteers are needed to scan and possibly sell tickets.  Also to gatekeep as no one without a ticket or under the age of 21 is admitted.
